Listed below are the Details and Results of the Brisbane Swimming Association’s Meets for the 2007-2008 Season.
Qualifying Meets
All participating Clubs must be affiliated with Swimming Queensland. All competing swimmers must be registered with Swimming Queensland. Competitions involving unaffiliated clubs or unregistered swimmers will not be approved or covered by the insurance of Swimming Queensland.
For meets to be designated as a qualifying meet for Swimming Queensland and Swimming Australia events, the following minimum standards must be met:
the competition must be conducted under the Rules of Swimming Queensland
pool length dimensions must be 25 metres or 50 metres
automatic timing, semi-automatic timing, or three timekeepers per lane
Swimming Queensland accredited Starter and Referee
Meet Manager back-up of the meet to be submitted electronically to SQ at admin@brisswim.org.au within two (2) days of completion of the competition.
All Regional Championships and A-Grade meets must satisfy SQ's Minimum Program requirements
The meet must be conducted in accordance with the Pool Depth Guidelines adopted by Swimming Australia.
Finish Judges are not required where there are three timekeepers per lane.
